About Us
Ben Suggs | Lead Pastor | Elder
Ben, along with his wife Jenna and some devoted friends and family, started Freedom Family Church - Siler City in 2017. Before that, Ben served as Youth and Family Pastor at Freedom Family Church in Liberty since its inception in 2008. Ben has always been bi-vocational; spending time teaching in public schools, running a local small business, and co-founding Love Chatham, a movement helping the most vulnerable in Chatham County. Ben and Jenna live here in Siler City with their 5 kids.
Leadership Structure
Our church subscribes to a biblical hierarchy that puts Christ as the spiritual Head of the church: modeling servant leadership that institutes a healthy balance of authority and accountability. Qualified and confirmed elders lead the church, supported by other pastors, deacons, and directors who shepherd the ministries and groups of people within. Leadership is prayerfully bestowed, not by talent or influence, but by scriptural qualifications and a track record of love.
